Good Intentions

Dear Reader, I promise to be more diligent with posting. My friend, Freddy Badgett, back in Mayberry, complained that my day job at the radio station is interfering with my writing. He's right! It has been pretty time-consuming, though interesting. It has given me the opportunity to meet some really incredible folks, either in person or on the phone. I've interviewed Sheriff Joe Arpaio from Maricopa County, Arizona, and an author/lawyer from Kentucky who changed his name to Natty Bumpo. No kidding. It's a new adventure every day.

I'm on the phone with my brother, who lives back home in Ararat. He is a heavy equipment operator--and there hasn't been much work this past year. He's worked about half the time of the year before. The economy is so far in the tank there, that I hope something good happens soon. So does he. We must strive to be supportive of one another and to be hopeful.

Hey Deb,
Glad to see you posting once again. I had a great time co-hosting the show with you, we will have to do it again sometime if your listeners will not revolt!! Take care and keep up the great work on the show, hope those server guys get it figured out, I missed hearing you today!
Take care,
Michelle

It was great having you join me on the air. I've thought about having regular co-hosts like Mike Douglas (I'm showing my age!) Take care yourself, and I'll pass along the word about the website.

Good for you for trying out different venues.
Of course, I miss you on your old venue.
I tried listening to you one morning and I didn't get to... I forgot why - I guess you just were not on that morning.
I will try again off and on.

How can we find your radio show?

Started tutoring online and know how you feel. Really enjoy the contact, even though not face to face, with students and need to work my brain, but miss having more blog time.

ET says there is War of Northern Aggression museum in Marietta. You need to interview him.

I see. It is on your blog. Will try to get it somehow. Is it syndicated at all ?
