Small TV World Syndrome

,
Just finished watching Cheyenne and there was a pretty, young guest star and I didn't realize who she was until the final credits. It was Susan Seaforth, who starred in the soap opera, Days of Our Lives, nearly every day of my life. She became the wife of her costar, Bill Hayes, who had gained fame by singing the themesong of our collective childhoods -- Davy Crockett.

As soon as I saw the picture I thought "Doug and Julie!"
They haven't been on Days much lately.
My wife and I got hooked on Days when she took a leave of absence to get our two sons a jump start.
The actors are so good on Days and some, like Susan and Bill, marry their screen partners I sometimes think they are not actors, but people playing their alto-ego roles.
